Vehicles for Sale or Bid
The University frequently offers used Fleet vehicles—usually sedans and cargo vans—for sale. These vehicles received regular oil changes while in use at Fleet Operations and are typically in excellent condition. Maintenance records are available for all Fleet vehicles. Occasionally, vehicles used by the University will be included in one of our auctions.

Vehicle Bidding
The Pennsylvania State University offers vehicles for sealed bids at Lion Surplus. Successful bidders are notified via telephone and must pay for their item(s) prior to removal. Completed bid sheets may be turned in at the Lion Surplus sales counter or faxed to 814-863-8696. Please call 814-865-4371 to confirm that your fax was received.
- Prospective buyers failing to pay for items may be excluded from bidding on future vehicles.
- Item is sold "as is" and "where is" with no guarantee or warranty of any kind. No returns will be accepted.
- The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
- All items are subject to prior sale to University departments.
- All items must be paid for in full prior to removal from University premises.
- Payment terms are cash, card, or check.
- Vehicle buyer must contact us at 814-863-2526 to schedule an appointment for the title transfer.
- Any costs incurred in the removal of the vehicle are the responsibility of the successful buyer.
- Price negotiations will not be accepted.
